Nathan Stanley Steps Out On His Own

Nathan Stanley may only be 17, but he has a long list of accomplishments related to Country Music. He has played with his “Pawpaw,” Dr. Ralph Stanley, at the Grand Ole Opry since he was only two years old. He toured the Country as the lead vocalist in his grandfather’s band, The Clinch Mountain Boys, and he has recorded three albums.
 
Nathan’s most recent album, My Kind of Country, will be available to the public later in the year. Several artists have joined Nathan on his album, including Ralph Stanley, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Marty Stuart, John Anderson, Gene Watson, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, Jeff & Sherri Easter, Stella Parton, Connie Smith, Little Jimmy Dickens and Ben COOTER Jones, who played Cooter on the Dukes of Hazzard TV show and many more artists. 
 
Nathan will also hold his 1st Annual Country & Bluegrass Music Festival on Aug. 13 & 14 in Wise, Va., on the Wise County Fairgrounds.
