Ryan Newman, NASCAR's #39 in the Sprint Cup Series, and wife Krissie met Music Row publisher Carolyn Miller back in 2006 and quickly realized they shared the same intrests: music and winning. The Newman's supported Miller as she launched publishing company and independent record label Route 49 Records in 2008 and have recently announced the trio's collaboration in forming MPR Entertainment Group. Ryan and Krissie's will act as CEOs alongside Miller at MPR Entertainment Group.
“Integrity is first and foremost what I look for in friends, and I can now say that those friends are also my business partners,” said Miller. “To have the marketing sensibilities that come with running a long-standing NASCAR team; whose love of music and winning equal mine, I knew we would make a strong team.”
Spearheading Route 49 Records is singer/songwriter Bridgette Tatum who experienced critical acclaim after co-writing Jason Aldean's No. 1 single, "She's Country," with Danny Myrick. Tatum is set to release her debut album in early 2010.
“We have watched Bridgette grow over the past few years and she has a natural talent, a strong voice and driven nature,” said Krissie Newman. “Our business experiences, as well as Carolyn’s amazing accomplishments with her company, can only fuel the momentum surrounding Bridgette. We look forward to a long career in Country Music.”
Tatum has been on the road, promoting her first single, "I Like My Cowboys Dirty."  For more information visit Root 49 Music and Bridgette Tatum
