GAC's Nan Kelley Battles With Cancer

5/27/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Great American Country’s Nan Kelley revealed last week that she is battling cancer. The Top 20 Country Countdown hostess wrapped up last Friday’s show with the news. "Over the next few months, I'll be receiving treatments for Hodgkin's lymphoma. My prognosis is very good and I should be just fine on the other side,” Kelley said. The former Miss Mississippi told her audience she hoped that sharing the news would bring comfort and support to others fighting cancer. While taking time for treatment, Kelley will get a little help from Country Music singer Blake Shelton, who will fill in for her as host on the Country countdown show.
