Musicians-On-Call Musicians On Call is a nonprofit organization that works to promote and complement the healing process for many hospitalized music fans by bringing live and recorded music to them while in healthcare facilities.  On Feb. 10, Musicians On Call started an online auction that will run through March 5, selling everything from backstage passes to Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban concerts to Grand Ole Opry tickets. Autographed guitars from Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Kenny Loggins, Blake Shelton, Kellie Pickler and many more are also being auctioned off.  Founded in 1999, the idea for Musicians On Call came after some patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center were unable to attend a concert held on site. Founders Michael Solomon and Vivek Tiwary walked room-to-room accompanied by an unnamed musician who played to every patient that was not in attendance at the concert.  From the initial patient reaction, the founders noticed the unmistakable joy and relaxation the music brought to the families and loved ones, thus spawning the founding of Musicians On Call. For auction information, go to http://moc09.charitybuzz.com/area.do?id=870.   See what the Big Dog has to say about this, read Webb's Woof
