MTV Special Shows Taylor Swift At Prom

Teen Country Music singing sensation Taylor Swift’s recent prom experience will become an MTV special titled Once Upon a Prom, showing June 21. The special will show Swift choosing which date she’ll take to a high school prom in Tuscaloosa, Ala. According to Country Weekly, Swift missed her own prom because of scheduling conflicts. Among other big news for Taylor Swift, she will also be making an appearance on MTV’s TRL. She will be the first country artist to ever co-host the show. The series will begin Monday, June 16 and end Thursday, June 19. Swift is set to perform “Picture To Burn” and “Our Song” on the show as well. This comes after several successful weeks for the singer. After a performance at the CMA Music Festival and a Saturday marathon of signing autographs, Swift’s self-titled album was back at the top of the charts last week, coming in second this week to Jewel’s new release Perfectly Clear.
