Mountain Heart on Mountain Stage

 National Public Radio’s longest running contemporary music program, “Mountain Stage,” will feature Mountain Heart for a concert to be distributed to more than 100 stations through the United States on Friday, July 29. The band recorded the concert in June in front of a live audience and NPR will also broadcast on the Voice of America Satellite.

 
The “Mountain Stage” show is hosted by Larry Groce and produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting. Five featured artists are presented on each show. To find out when the special will be airing in your area, visit MountainStage.org.
 
Mountain Heart is an award-winning group continuing to perform acoustic music in a revolutionized way. They have played on the Grand Ole Opry stage more than 100 times and have performed with artists such as The Avett Brothers, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more.
