Montgomery Gentry Recall Meeting Wives

2/14/2008 Stephen L. Betts Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry says it wasn’t exactly love at first sight for he and his wife, Angie. The couple actually met several times before Troy even asked her out. But once they fell in love, he says they became hopeless romantics. Troy says that Valentine’s Day gives the couple a day to celebrate and honor their life together. Troy's singing partner, Eddie Montgomery, says he fell in love with his wife, Tracy, the moment he met her. He tells Country Weekly, “I convinced her she couldn't live without me real fast.” Troy and Angie have been married eight years, while Eddie and Tracy were married 18 years ago.
