Timely Promotion for Montgomery Gentry

6/11/2008 Katie Ball Mongtomery-Gentry Reactor Montgomery Gentry announced a partnership with California watch company REACTOR today that will bring their likeness into Dillard’s stores everywhere. The promotion will involve both in-store displays and radio advertising. The partnership also falls in with the release of Montgomery Gentry’s new album Back When I Knew It All. Shoppers can begin looking for life-size standups of the band, door decals, posters and signs near watch departments that sell Reactor watches in the near future. The new album will also be sold at the counters along with the watches, some watches will be available at Montgomery Gentry concerts.   Those who visit the counters can also enter into a drawing to win tickets to a concert, a Dillard’s gift card or many other prizes. In a statement from REACTOR, Jimmy Olmes, founder and president of the company, expressed his excitement about the partnership.  “When Dillard’s learned that Troy Gentry was a watch collector, we arranged to get him a Reactor, which he loved and started wearing regularly,” said Olmes. “…when we heard that they had a new album coming out in June, we formulated the idea to do this ambitious promotion.”
