4/24/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Montgomery Gentry is ready to put the "rock" in "raucous." The Country Music duo is set to release their new album June 10, and the album's title track is climbing the charts, winning the fans over with its familiar sound. In a press release Wednesday, Troy Gentry was quoted, "We've been hearing from a lot of fans—they want some more raucous kind of stuff out of us. Some of the in-your-face, hard rock kind of stuff. So we're going to bring in some of the older Montgomery Gentry style back into the music, as far as twin lead guitars and hard-driving kind of sounds that we had in the past." Back When I Knew It All takes fans back to the rock sound that defined the band and their all-out party performances. The album offers guest performances from Country star Toby Keith ("I Pick My Parties") and Jypsi's Lillie Mae Rische ("God Knows Who I Am.") The duo will open for Toby Keith this summer on the Biggest & Baddest tour; fans also can catch them on separate tour dates through the fall. Watch for a special performance at this year’s ACM Awards May 18.
