Miranda Lambert has finally revealed the release date of her highly anticipated new album Four the Record—November 1, 2011. After the outstanding success of her previous album, Revolution, which produced the three No. 1 hits “White Liar,” “The House That Built Me,” and “Heart Like Mine,” it is easy to see why fans are so excited about her latest endeavor.

“Four the Record has so many meanings,” says Miranda. ”I love the play on words and my records always have a little crime in them and this is the fourth record of my career. This album pushes the limits for me in many ways and I collaborate with friends and heroes. It builds on my previous albums with a whole new flair. Four the Record’s sake, don’t forget 11/1/11.”

But fans who just can’t wait until November to hear more of Miranda will have another opportunity to tune in when she releases her first album with the all girl country group Pistol Annies. Their debut album titled Hell on Heels will feature ten new songs from the trio of singer songwriters Miranda, Ashley Monroe, and Angeleena Presley and will be available at all digital retailers starting August 23.

“How lucky is it that I have two amazing singer songwriter friends and together we make an unstoppable musical force,” says Miranda. “We say things in our music that women all across the country are thinking. This is a great creative outlet for me as a solo artist and it’s cool as hell! Hell on Heels will knock your socks off.”

The other girls clearly share Miranda’s sentiment. “These girls are my home away from home,” says Angaleena Presley. “We share everything from shoes to shotguns. I feel so blessed to finally share our songs with the world.”

“I’m just so proud to be a part of something so close to my heart,” adds Ashley Monroe. “I love these gals like sisters and to be able to write songs with them and share these songs with the world is a bit overwhelming. And I truly believe this is JUST the beginning.”
