Mindy McCready to Serve 60-Day Sentence

 Country singer Mindy McCready will turn herself in to Franklin, Tenn., police to serve a 60-day sentence, it was announced yesterday.McCready will go back to jail for parole violation, stemming from her 2004 arrest for prescription drug fraud. She was arrested again on June 23 for parole violation, but has been free on bond since. During that time, she did enter a substance abuse rehab center.In a statement on her Web site, McCready said, "I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander."
