Mel Tillis Gets Grillin'

5/12/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Country Music star Mel Tillis has signed up to be a competitor in the 2008 Country Music Association's Fiesta Celebrity Grilling Challenge. Tillis, along with five other celebrities, will be paired with a professional chef during the competition, which will debut during the CMA Music Festival in June. Tillis told GAC, "I love to grill, I love to cook, I love to bake." The Country Music Hall of Famer grew up in his father’s Florida bakery. “So I’m experienced in all that stuff, and I thought it’d be a lot of fun, too," he said. Additional celebrities for CMA MusicFest competition will be announced at a future date.
