Mel Tillis Releases Comedy Album

Country Music legend Mel Tillis is still tickling funny bones these days with the release of his debut comedy album, You Aint' Gonna Believe This…. The album captures many of Tillis' "gut-busting" funny stage moments that have occurred throughout his 60-year career.

"As one who stutters, humor has very much been a part of my whole life" said Tillis. "As a matter of fact, it’s been my crutch. The stories that I tell on and offstage are 95 percent true. If they need a little help, I help 'em out now and again!"

Tillis is no stranger to the world of comedy, taking the Comedian of the Year award six times during his career. His comedy has graced the silver screen in films such as Smokey & the Bandit II, Cannonball Run, Cannonball Run II and most recently, Toby Keith’s Beer for my Horses.
