4/25/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Tim, Tim, and more Tim.  The Country Music superstar has three times the charm this week, starting with his new number one single, "Nine Lives," the song he performed and co-wrote with Def Leppard.  The single landed at #1 on the Billboard/RR Classic Rock chart this week, which makes McGraw the first Country artist to land at number one on the Classic Rock charts. "Nine Lives" also is climbing the Billboard/RR Active Rock Singles chart. This marks McGraw’s 30th number one single of his career, but is not his first score in an alternate music genre. In 2005, "Over and Over," the duet with R&B artist Nelly, remained at number one for 12 weeks on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40. Meanwhile, Tim continues his career with some new endorsements.  Fritos recently announced it would be the "official snack" of McGraw’s Live Your Voice tour. This means fans and snackers get limited edition Tim McGraw Spicy Jalapeño Fritos, found this week wherever snack goods are sold.  It gets better. In September, the special-edition snacks will be available in a limited-edition collectable tin, with a behind-the-scene’s DVD of this summer’s tour, available exclusively at Wal-Mart. And to possibly hear "Nine Lives," while eating the new spicy jalapeño Tim McGraw Fritos, check out Swampstock 2008. The charity music and softball event is back in Rayville, LA on Sept. 13.  The traditional celebrity softball game will return, with McGraw’s team still seeking a win over wife Faith Hill’s team. The event will benefit the Neighbor’s Keepers Foundation, a charity co-founded by McGraw and Hill.  Previous participants of Swampstock include Martina McBride, Rick Allen of Def Leppard, Brett Favre, Rhett Atkins, Chris Cagle, the Warren Brothers, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Lori McKenna.
