McComb Debut Out Now

5/14/2008 Katie Ball Country Music artist Jeremy McComb released his debut album My Side of Town on Tuesday. His first single “This Town Needs a Bar” released to radio and its video debuted on CMT and GAC recently.  In preparation for the 2008 ACM Awards in Las Vegas, McComb is set to appear at several events this week. On Friday Lifetime Television Networks and Redbook Magazine have a reception to promote the “Every woman counts campaign” that McComb supports. The campaign promotes acceptance and encourages women to vote.  McComb is also participating in the Pickin’ & Poker Tournament Jam hosted by Country Music artist Andy Griggs on Friday. McComb will perform several songs from his new album. Proceeds from the tournament are donated to the ACM’s Charitable Foundation.  Saturday McComb participates in the 5th Annual ACM Charity Motorcycle Ride hosted by Montgomery Gentry. Riders start at the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson and end at Fremont Street, where a concert takes place. McComb’s week ends at the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night with a walk down the “orange carpet.”
