Taylor Swift Is Ecstatic

Actually she says she’s “absolutely walking on a cloud” over her 6, the most for anyone, American Music Awards nominations. Taylor’s noms include artist of the year, favorite female pop and country artist, favorite pop and country album for "Fearless," and favorite adult contemporary artist. Of course, Michael Jackson has 5 nominations and he’s not even alive.

Rosanne Cash At The Top The List
Okay so I’m using a little of my street language there. Rosanne’s new release The List has put her higher on the charts than she’s ever been. The album, which Vanity Fair called “superb,” has notched a No. 5 Country debut, and entered The Billboard 200 at No. 22. Her highest previous ranking in the Top 200 was at No. 26 with the album Seven Year Ache in 1981. The List was also No. 1 on Amazon’s Bestseller’s list after its release on October 6, and reached No. 4 on iTunes Top Albums chart. The album came from what her father, Johnny Cash, called the 100 most essential country songs. So there you go, it really pays to listen to your pa.
