Martina McBride wrote recently about her secret to remaining married to the same man 21 years.  She says either she chose well or got lucky!  But Martina also adds, “He is thoughtful, kind, considerate. romantic, handsome and really funny.”  Congrats to Martina and John McBride.  And if that ever doesn’t work out for you Martina, I’m all those things plus really warm.  Grrr. Woof.
 
Is Kenny Chesney Better In 3-D?
There’s a buzz on the internet (I’m a dog…how would I know what that means?) about Kenny Chesney’s recent concert in Philly being filmed in 3-D.  Is there a possible DVD in the works?  Kenny says they film most shows just for the crew to watch at the end of the tour, but decided to do this one in 3-D.  I hate 3-D; those glasses are so hard to keep on my nose.
 
Willie Just Keeps On Goin’
Joe Nick Patoski, who has done a biography on Willie Nelson, says the 76-year-old country crooner could kick his rear in kick boxing.  Patoski also says he thinks Willie will just keep on making music until he’s laid to rest.  In fact, Patoski says Willie has so many unreleased songs in his vault that we’ll be hearing from him after he’s gone too.  Wonder what he has to smoke in that vault?
 
Garth Gets A Leader?
Garth Brooks will be among a group honored August 23 by Nashville’s Leadership Music group when he’s presented a Dale Franklin Leadership Music award.  Best part is Martina McBride will be among those performing that night.  Wurd to Garth, stay away from the leaders…they’re only so humans can make you go where they want you to go.

Sara Evans will sing “God Bless America” during the 7th inning stretch of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game July 14.  President Obama is throwing out the ceremonial first pitch too.  I think there’s a baseball game going on in between all this stuff too.
