Martina McBrideThe holiday season at Graceland, the home of the late Elvis Presley, will begin on Nov. 21 when Country recording artist Martina McBride will turn on the home's traditional blue holiday lights.Also this holiday season, female vocalists including Sara Evans, Wynonna Judd, McBride, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson are contributing their vocal talents to a create a duet album of Elvis holiday songs. The ladies will overdub their voices with the original Elvis recordings.On the album, Elvis Presley Christmas Duets, McBride will be singing “Blue Christmas” alongside the late King of Rock and Roll. The tracks are remastered and more instrumentation has been added. Background vocals have also been enhanced. In addition to the duets, three bonus tracks on the album have had the instrumentation remastered. The Elvis solos, “The First Noel,” “If I Get Home On Christmas,” and “Winter Wonderland” have a sound so clear that Elvis’ breath intakes can be heard. The album is in stores now.
