Martina McBride Is Ready to Shine

Country Music star Martina McBride is preparing for her March 24 release, Shine, with a flurry of TV appearances, performances and interviews from New York City to Texas.

McBride is climbing the charts with the release of her new single, "Ride," which was the inspiration for the album title, Shine.

"That's one of my favorite lyrics from the song 'Ride' is 'shine, while you have the chance to shine,' because I feel like sometimes you go along, and you take things for granted," McBride explained. "And all of a sudden, you're reminded... you get one shot to do this. You get one shot to live this life, and you should shine while you have the chance to shine. You should go out there and be undeniable."

McBride is gracing the April 20 cover of First magazine, on newsstands now, and shot the cover for the March issue of American Country. She will be heading to New York next week for appearances on Today, Tuesday March 24 for an interview and performance. McBride heads over to Regis & Kelly on Wednesday, and then to a Rachel Ray taping, which will air in April.

If that isn't enough for McBride fans, they can catch the songstress on E!'s Chelsea Lately next month, and an appearance on Ellen April 2.
