The annual YWCA Celebrity Auction with Martina McBride raised more $102,289.00 on Sunday, a 29 percent increase over last year.

McBride, who has hosted the auction since 1995, brought in $22,000 alone for two identical autographed and framed lyrics for “She’s a Butterfly." Big Kenny, who wrote the song, was also present at the auction.

“It is Martina’s genuine support and the devotion of her fans that help make the auction so successful each year,” noted Pat Shea, CEO of the YW.  “It is so amazing to me that Martina has helped us raise over $100,000 in a few hours,” Shea continued. “Those dollars will help the YWCA help women and children who need counseling, medical care, support and emergency shelter as they flee violent homes. We are very grateful to Martina,” concluded Shea.

Other highly coveted items included a Brad Paisley guitar and meet and greet for $6,000, a framed Keith Urban autographed “Living Right Now” concert DVD and meet and greet for $3,800 and a Martina McBride autographed and framed Grand Old Opry poster (announcing McBride’s induction to the Opry) for $4,600.

GAC’s Storme Warren emceed the event for the second year.
