To commemorate that, Martina McBride dressed up like at 1960s Priscilla when she performed "Blue Christmas" on Elvis’ comeback-special concert for a new video. McBride’s voice was overdubbed with Elvis' in a recording of “Blue Christmas” for the new holiday album, Elvis Presley Christmas Duets. Other strong female vocalists like Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Sara Evans, Amy Grant, Wynonna and the females of Little Big Town also sing along with Elvis on his classic versions of Christmas songs. McBride told The Memphis Commercial Appeal that “Blue Christmas” was “one of my dad’s favorite songs growing up,” thus making the decision of which song to sing easy. Recently, McBride had the opportunity to turn on the blue Christmas lights at Graceland, Elvis’ former home in Memphis. While at the famous mansion, McBride took her first tour. She appreciates the King's artistry, even though she was still very young when he died at Graceland in 1977."I'm a huge Elvis fan.  I doubt that something like that will ever happen again. We were in a much more innocent place then,” she said. “He was very talented and very beautiful, and there was a mystery there."Currently, Elvis Presley Christmas Duets is No. 5 on the Billboard Country albums chart.
