On Saturday, Nov. 20, for the first time ever, Country star Martina McBride and award-winning rock band Train will come together to showcase and collaborate their musical abilities on CMT Crossroads: Train and Martina McBride, airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This will be McBride’s second appearance on Crossroads, her first in 2003 with Pat Benatar.

Train has been making their tracks on music history over the past 15 years since their formation in San Francisco in 1994. They have had a Grammy-winning song, “Drops of Jupiter,” as well other hits that have traveled along the charts, such as “Meet Virgina,” “Calling All Angels” and their most recent, “Hey, Soul Sister.” Train, now on their fifth album, entitled Save Me San Francisco, is channeling their earlier moments as a band, which has made the band stronger on the charts and as a band. This album and closeness also follows a three-year hiatus. “Hey, Soul Sister” is currently the biggest single download in Columbia Records’ history as well as the biggest selling single of 2010.

McBride has a string of experience on her resume as well that makes her a force to be reckoned with in the Country Music world and beyond. McBride is a four-time winner of the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, has sold more than 18 million albums, 24 Top 10 singles – six of them being No. 1 hits – and has won a prestigious Grammy Award. Several of McBride’s hits include the I-am-woman-hear-me-roar songs, including “This One’s for the Girls,” as well as the inspiring “Independence Day” and “Ride.”

Train and McBride will bring their southern roots mixed with high energy, rock-and-roll and a whole lot of soul to the Nashville stage, which was taped in front of an invitation-only audience. Performances will include McBride’s hits “Wrong Baby Wrong,” as well as “A Broken Wing.” As for Train, their songs “Marry Me,” “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter” will be on the list.
