Martina Guests on Tyra Banks' Show

10/4/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Martina McBride recently made a guest appearance on Tyra Banks’ daytime talk show. Tyra says she invited her because she loved Martina's video for “Anyway,” which she caught while flipping TV channels one day. When Tyra asked Martina what she thought about people who say they like all kinds of music except for country, Martina admitted that country has some stereotypes to unravel but suggested that it's not just twang about your pickup truck and your dog. Martina also shared that she loves to relax by making coffee and reading a stack of magazines — whether about cooking, style or even gossip. During the program, Martina made several dreams come true for one of her biggest fans who got to meet her idol, sing an a capella version of "Anyway" with her, and was proposed to after Martina's performance.
