9/28/2007 Stephen L. Betts Martina McBride is re-releasing her holiday album, White Christmas, and adding four new tracks to the collection, including renditions of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Jingle Bells,” along with her Dean Martin duet “Baby It's Cold Outside,” which was released last year by Capitol Records. “I love Christmas music and it was so hard for me to pick only a few of my favorite songs when we first recorded the album,” says Martina. “So when I got the chance to go back and add some other favorites I had missed, I was very excited. I knew I wanted to add the Dean Martin duet and after performing our Christmas show for the past several seasons, it made me want to add crowd favorites like ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,’ and, of course, ‘Jingle Bells!’ How did I miss that one last time?” Ironically, Martina produced the new tracks during the intense heat of July, in the middle of one of the worst droughts Nashville has seen in years. “I have to admit, it wasn't easy to forget the temps were in the 100s while I sang Jingle Bells!,” she says.  The expanded edition of White Christmas will be in stores Oct. 2nd.
