In March, Mariah Carey could be having baby twins with her husband Nick Cannon. For years, the couple has been attempting to get pregnant. Now that they are, they are excited for the babies. In preparation, the couple has turned an entire wing of their Beverly Hills mansion into a massive luxury baby's room. It seems more like a fairy tale with 18 carat gold trim on the wall, diamond encrusted iPods, $2,200 cribs and a $1 million sofa Michael Jackson used.

The price of Carey and Nick Cannon’s nursery is going up fast. There was one source that said about $1.3 million was spent. That is a low estimate. More than likely, the final cost could be $2 or $3 million since $1 million is being spent on the crushed velvet couch by itself by Cannon and Carey. In the large luxury nursery, there can be $3,000 rocking chairs. Two 42 inch flat screen TVs could be in there too. Carey is also employing the services of a designer to help decorate the wing of the house.
