Love and Theft On Top with Debut Release

This week,new group Love and Theft sold 12,500 units of their first album, World Wide Open, pushing them to the No. 10 spot on Neilsen Soundscan’s Country Top 75 Chart. They also gained recognition for having the third highest charting album and first week sales of a new Country Music artist this year.
The album exploded online, where digital sales accounted for 21 percent of their overall units sold. Nearly 19,000 fans bought a copy of the band’s first single, “Runaway.”
Love and Theft artists Brian Bandas, Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles co-wrote all 11 songs on the album. Robert Ellis Orrall and Jeff Coplan co-produced World Wide Open.
