Betts At Sunday's Grammy Awards, Carrie Underwood hit the stage with her scorned-woman anthem and best country song award winner "Before He Cheats," belting, “I took a Louisville Slugger to both headlights.” The delivery made such an impression on the Louisville Slugger folks that the company's made commemorative bats for Underwood and the song’s co-writers, Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear. The bats are being packaged and sent to Underwood and the songwriters today. Carrie also won best female country vocal performance for the song at last night's 50th annual Awards show.
