Lorrie Morgan’s Enchanted Christmas Dinner & Show begins November 16, 2012 and runs through Christmas Day, December 25, as part of Gaylord Opryland’s 29th Annual ‘A Country Christmas’ celebration. Lorrie and her exceptional family of talented musicians will take audiences on an enchanting journey through Christmases past and present, featuring songs from her popular Merry Christmas from London album along with an assortment of hits from her 16-album recording career. Sharing her musical gift with guests, Lorrie’s set list will also include her rendition of “My Favorite Things” and her personal holiday treasures “Ave Maria,” “Blue Snowfall” and “Up On Santa Clause Mountain,” as well as her Christmas festival medley to set the Yuletide tone. Each evening will begin with a traditional holiday meal with all the trimmings prepared by Gaylord Opryland’s award-winning chefs.

“There is something about the snow and the lights and the sparkle in children’s eyes during the Holiday season that is absolutely magical,” said Ms. Morgan. “I remember coming to Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry with my father as a child; year after year, the experience was like a whimsical storybook. I am pleased to have the opportunity to bring the love, hope and romance of the Christmas season to life with my music—appearing in this show is a dream come true.”

With more than two million twinkling lights, acres of stunning decorations and festive entertainment that attract visitors from all over the world, A Country Christmas at Gaylord Opryland has been hailed as one of the “Ten Great Places to Catch up with Santa” by USA Today; “The Most Christmassy Hotel in the Nation” by the Travel Channel’s Extreme Christmas; one of the top ten places to spend Christmas in the world by Travel + Leisure and a “Nashville treasure” by Southern Living.

“Nashville wouldn’t be Music City USA without amazing live shows and entertainment,” said Pete Weien, senior vice president and general manager of Gaylord Opryland Resort. “We’re delighted to welcome Lorrie and to be able to bring country music fans this award-winning vocalist up close and personal in a cozy Christmas gathering they’ll treasure for years to come.”
