In anticipation and celebration of the holiday season, Lorrie Morgan introduces a tune dressed for the occasion: “Wrapped Up In Love” presented by Octabrook Records. Addressed to the North Pole’s man of mystery, the flirtatious number is adorned with jingle bells, Santa’s “ho-ho-ho’s” and a nod to the movie Love Actually as a playful introduction.

The single is lined with light-hearted lyrics and a poppy spirit. Combined with the strength of Morgan’s signature vocals, the tune is poised to become a holiday favorite and is set to arrive on the doorsteps of radio stations around the country in mid-November.

Noted as one of her favorite times of the year, Morgan embraces the magic of the Christmas season with her acclaimed 1993 album Merry Christmas from London and her upcoming extravaganza: Lorrie Morgan’s Enchanted Christmas Dinner & Show at the world renowned Opryland hotel beginning Nov. 16 through Dec. 25, 2012 in Nashville, Tenn.

“Something about the mistletoe-time-of-year brings out my child-like nature and flirtatious cheer,” said Ms. Morgan. “'Wrapped Up In Love,' I hope, will become one of the ‘go-to’ songs when decorating the tree or gathering with friends near a crackling fireplace while watching the snow fall.”

The “Wrapped Up In Love” release debuts just as Morgan concludes her 2012 independent tour schedule and the Grits & Glamour tour (with music comrade Pam Tillis). In addition to rehearsing for the Enchanted Christmas Dinner & Show, Lorrie has been in the studio to record her forthcoming album alongside longtime friend, fellow Opry member and Grits & Glamour touring partner, Pam Tillis. The new album is anticipated in spring 2013.
