Loretta Lynn Memoirs Re-Released

Loretta Lynn’s Memoir, Loretta Lynn: Coal Miner’s Daughter, will be reissued in trade paperback on Sept. 21, according to CMT News.
 
The publication, which has been out of print for nearly a decade, will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Lynn’s first single, “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” and the 30th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film, Coal Miner’s Daughter.
 
Lynn will contribute a new forward to the memoir, which will be released as an e-book and as an audio book. The audio book is narrated by Sissy Spacek, who won an Oscar for portraying Lynn in the 1980 film.
 
The Country Music Hall of Fame member will perform Saturday, June 26, at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
