Country Music group Lonestar will be bowling for charity this summer, and they want you to join them.

The Fourth Annual “Lonestar and Friends Strike Out for the Kids” will be held this year on June 2 at the Hermitage Lanes in Hermitage, Tennessee. Proceeds from the event will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Besides Lonestar, artists appearing will include Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Bo Bice, Diana DeGarmo, Joe Nichols, Darryl Worley and more. Even though it’s the fourth time for this fundraiser, the guys from Lonestar are still passionate about the cause.

“Every year it feels like something totally new,” said Lonestar keyboardist Dean Sams. “It’s something we want to keep doing for years to come.

Fans who buy tickets to the event will be given dinner at the bowling alley and will be entered in a random drawing. For each artist in attendance, four names will be chosen to play a game with that artist.

The party is scheduled for June 2, 2008, from 6 to 10 PM, with the doors opening at 5:30. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at www.countrycares.org.
