9/13/2007 Stephen L. Betts Lonestar unwrapped a couple of Christmas gifts a little early this week, as they made the highly-anticipated announcement of the name of their new lead singer, Cody Collins, and revealed details of a new album and tour fans can look forward to this holiday season. Available in early November, My Christmas List features Cody Collins taking the reins as the group’s new lead singer, replacing Richie McDonald, who announced his departure in March of this year.  “Cody is such a strong singer and he brings a lot to the table with his vocal ability,” says the group’s Michael Britt. “His voice has a believable quality to it that draws you in. We wanted to make sure his talent was highlighted in the best way possible and what ended up coming out still sounded like Lonestar music. It's a perfect fit.” The new Christmas disc will be available excluisvely at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations and online at www.crackerbarrel.com. In addition to being the exclusive home of My Christmas List, Cracker Barrel will sponsor Lonestar's holiday concert tour, beginning in November.  The Lonestar CD joins Cracker Barrel's list of exclusive CDs featuring Josh Turner, Merle Haggard, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Sara Evans, Amy Grant, Charlie Daniels, Songs of the Year and the Grand Ole Opry Live Classics series.
