Little Big Town Helps Haiti With Baby Shower

According to AOL’s The Boot, Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town are awaiting the arrival of their first child, but they’re not asking for any baby gifts.

 

The couple decided instead to hold a virtual baby shower through the band’s Web site. The shower will benefit Haiti, which was devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in January.

 

“At such a desperate time in Haiti right now, in lieu of sending gifts to us, we would love your help in giving to an amazing organization called Danita's Children & Hope for Haiti Children's Center,” Fairchild said.

 

The children center is a non-profit organization a couple of hours outside the city of Port au Prince, where the epicenter of the earthquake struck.
