Little Big Town Adds One To Their Crew

Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook welcomed their first child this past Friday. The proud parents gave birth to a baby boy, Elijah Dylan Westbrook, weighing 7 lbs. 14 oz.

 

Fairchild and Westbrook are so excited to finally be parents. As Fairchild told People magazine, “We’ve been waiting for this for a long time and can’t tell you how thrilled and blessed we both feel.” She also added that Westbrook will be a “natural” at fatherhood.

 

Westbrook, in turn, praised his wife, saying, “Karen is going to be an incredible mom. She has always been so good with children. Besides, she’s done a great job raising me to become a responsible adult!”

 

The couple is expected to jump back onto the Country Music train in May, taking baby Elijah with them. But he won’t be the only baby on board. Bandmate Kimberly Roads Schlapman and her husband have a 2 ½ year old daughter while Phillip Sweet and his wife have a 2-year old daughter.

 

Sounds like one Little Big Town family.
