Lee Brice is breaking all rules and records. His recent hit, “Love Like Crazy,” has been on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 55 weeks, breaking the record for the most weeks spent on this chart. Previously, Eddy Arnold's "Bouquet of Roses" spent 54 weeks on the chart, debuting in 1948.

“It’s really hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that this song has been on the charts for over a year,” Brice said. “I had a really good feeling about it when Doug Johnson played it for me. But never in my wildest dreams did I think it would have this kind of life. It’s a song people can relate to—nothing flashy—just straightforward and honest. And that’s what makes a truly great song.”

The song is featured on Brice's album of the same name, which was over a year in the making. The album is in stores now.

Brice has come a long ways; he was a co-writer for Garth Brooks' mega-hit "More Than A Memory" and released his first single, "She Ain’t Right," in 2007. But nothing can top 55 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country charts.
