lee-ann-womack February 8 marks the fifth time Lee Ann Womack had been nominated for a Grammy Award, for Best Recording by a Female.Though she did not win with Last Call, the nomination itself is enough recognition to prove that Womack still has that musical fire burning inside.  Womack said she was very happy with the song from the beginning and remembers the shoot to be a breeze."I loved the song ‘Last Call,’" Lee Ann told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "I wasn’t 100 percent sure that I was gonna cut it the first time I heard it, but I knew I loved it. So we saved it, we saved it, and we came down to the end of the session one day and we were trying to decide, 'What are we gonna cut for this last song?' And we went in and cut it, and I’m so glad we did, ‘cause I love the feel of it, and I knew lyrically that I liked what it said."Lee Ann is also up for nomination for Top Female Vocalist at the 44th Annual ACM Awards, scheduled for April 5 in Las Vegas.
