LeAnn Reveals Daily Diet to Fitness Readers

2/20/2008 Stephen L. Betts   LeAnn Rimes tells Fitness magazine that she and her husband, Dean Sheremet, help each other stay fit. The singer is featured in the March issue of the publication, in which she also discusses the diet which helps her keep in shape. LeAnn’s daily food intake consists of a bowl of oatmeal with agave nectar, dried cherries, and walnuts for breakfast; a protein shake after working out; for lunch she has grilled chicken, a whole-wheat pita, and hummus, then in the afternoon she has another snack. Dinner is usually a fish dish, such as trout with spinach, sautéed in garlic and olive oil. For dessert, LeAnn says she usually has a piece of dark chocolate. The blue agave plant, which is where agave nectar comes from, is a succulent plant that is native to Mexico. It’s the same plant used in the production of another popular beverage – and one which we suspect is not on LeAnn’s diet plan – tequila.
