LeAnn Says Husband Was Normal and "Goofball"

Betts LeAnn Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet have, in her words, “a wonderful relationship.” The singer, who was 19 when the couple got married, tells Redbook that they have “really grown up together.” LeAnn says Dean is a good balance for her, and says that when they met she was very uptight about her career. She describes Dean as “so much fun,” saying that unlike her "he grew up with a normal childhood and was a goofball.” But like her, Dean also comes from a broken home, so LeAnn says it's important that when they have kids they give their children a stable environment. LeAnn says they're waiting to start a family so “we'll have been married long enough to have such a great base.” The October issue of Redbook, featuring the interview with LeAnn, is on sale now.
