LeAnn Rimes Returns as Showdown Host

LeAnn Rimes will be hosting and performing at the 27th Annual Colgate Country Showdown National Final at the Ryman Auditorium on Jan. 15, 2009. This will be the third consecutive year that LeAnn has hosted the event.The competiton is the country's longest-running Country Music talent search. The finals feature contestants in five regional categories trying for $100,000. The show will be televised and syndicated across the country some time next year.
