11/6/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Little Big Town fans are rejoicing that the group’s new album, A Place to Land, landed in stores today. The group celebrated the arrival of the album at an invitation-only pre-release brunch yesterday (11/5) at Nashville’ Global Café. The crowd was treated to a special intimate performance of the fresh tracks “Vapor” and “That’s Where I’ll Be,” in addition to a sampling of the new material from the album. The group finished up with their hit “Boondocks,” which garnered a standing ovation. Group members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Jimi Westbrook and Philip Sweet took turns talking about the songs on the album, for which they wrote ten of the 12 tracks with producer, Wayne Kirkpatrick. The CMA Vocal Group and Horizon Award-nominated band will perform on tomorrow night’s live telecast of the CMA Awards, which begins at 8 p.m. (ET) on ABC-TV.
