Lauren Alaina Has Record-breaking Debut

American Idol runner-up, Lauren Alaina, now has the best-selling female country debut since 2006 with her album, Wildflower. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 5 on Billboard Top 200. 
 
Since LeAnn Rimes' debut (15 years ago), Lauren Alaina, at age 16, is the youngest female artist to debut this high on the Billboard charts. Wildflower has sold over 19,659 digital downloads, making it the best-selling digital album by a debut country female.
