11/28/2007 Stephen L. Betts Country newcomer Laura Bryna is set to release her Equity Music Group debut disc, Trying To Be Me on Jan. 22, 2008, and she’s taking Las Vegas by storm to launch a promotional campaign in support of the album. Beginning in December, Laura’s video for her new single, “Make a Wish,” will air continuously across 35 flat-screen monitors in both the Luxor and Excalibur Hotels for more than a month. Two 10,000- square-foot images of the singer will adorn the Luxor Tower and her video will be seen regularly on four huge video screens in front of the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip. In addition, a special version of Laura's debut CD will contain a bonus track called "I Don't Have a Thing to Wear" specifically for the Vegas promotion. The CD will be available in the retail stores in both the Luxor and the Excalibur. On Dec. 10, Laura performs at the Fashion Show Mall during a holiday fashion show featuring noted designers. She’ll also celebrate the release of her CD with a special performance at the exclusive LAX nightclub in the Luxor on Jan. 14. LAX has played host to the likes of Usher, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, but this event marks the first time a country artist will play the club. It’ll also be the first time any act has performed there with a live band. Laura Bryna has just completed a two-month tour with labelmate Clint Black. Her single “Make a Wish,” was inspired by her volunteer work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the video stars some very special Make-A-Wish children who are friends of Laura’s.
