Lady A's Own The Night Is Owning The Charts

The members of Lady Antebellum are no strangers to success, with two highly successful albums and numerous country music awards already under their belts, but the group is still going strong with the release of their third album this week. Own The Night debuted this week in the top slot on the Billboard Top 200, and with over 347,000 sales already, it is the biggest first week debut for a country artist this year.
 
The album is receiving high praise from fans and critics alike, with the Washington Post calling it their “strongest effort to date,” Newsday saying “it's well-written, pristinely sung and is likely to be a huge hit,” and the New York Times lauding it as “one of the most convincing albums of the year, a huge leap forward.”
 
The band’s Own The Night 2011 Tour kicks off in Knoxville, TN on November 11, but the trio is staying busy until that time. They are currently in Canada promoting the album, and will make their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend. They will then travel to the UK, France, and Germany to promote the album in Europe before returning to the States for their tour. For a full list of upcoming appearances and tour dates, visit www.ladyantebellum.com.
