After 83 weeks on the Billboard Country albums chart, Country music trio Lady Antebellum has gone for another sales record. The group performed their new single, "Need You Now," from their upcoming album of the same name, on last week's CMA Awards. Their gripping performance resulted in 45,228 units of their self-titled debut album being sold this week, exceeding the first week of sales for the CD.

"Need You Now" also has shot up the digital charts at iTunes and Amazon and is currently Verizon's No. 1 selling Country ringback and ringtone.

The CMA Vocal Group of the Year also is enjoying some gold status as the RIAA certified their debut single, "Love Don't Live Here," and "Need You Now" as gold this week.

Lady A will release their sophomore album, Need You Now, on Jan. 26, 2010. Fans can catch the trio on the Southern Voice Tour with superstar Tim McGraw.
