Lady Antebellum recently hit the CMT offices with plans to talk about their new music. However, the conversation took a turn to Haiti’s earthquake and Lady A couldn't keep their silence about the catastrophe.

Charles Kelley and his wife found themselves donating to the Red Cross. “We were watching the Nightline (coverage). It was kind of eye-opening and overwhelming. I knew it was bad but I didn’t know it was that bad.”
Kelley continued to speak about the images he saw involving people out on the street, bleeding with nowhere else to go. “There’s no recourse. It’s wild that that could happen. But apparently a lot of aid is on its way. It’s probably not there by now. It kind of makes you wonder why it would take so long but I’m sure it’s a massive effort.”
Front woman Hillary Scott felt a personal connection to the tragedy. Scott’s friends were in the process of adopting a little girl from Haiti and were actually going to go there to get her.
"I don't know all of the details but you can watch the television and feel like you're separated from it, but when something like that happens ... I mean, we're all in this world together and we should all feel a part of each other, but whenever something like that hits close to home, with someone you know, it just really puts it into perspective,” Scott said.
“You just have to hug your loved ones and do what you can. Any little bit you can give, give it. One, you're doing it for an unbelievable cause, and if you do it with a pure heart, you'll be blessed for it.”
MTV Network will be hosting an earthquake relief global telethon called Hope for Haiti.
