3/27/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer The "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride" tour, featuring Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, starts up again April 9 in Baltimore.  CMT Insider recently spoke with the superstars about their highly-successful pairing. "The whole tour in general, for me, has certainly been the most fun I've ever had on the road," Keith said. "The crowd interaction has been overwhelming, and I think next time we tour we're going to try and make that even more interactive, because getting in there and being a part of everybody — and playing with them instead of playing at them — is really key, I think." Carrie is currently headlining her North American tour with Josh Turner, which ends this Saturday in Sydney.  She tells CMT Insider she didn’t know what to anticipate on her venture with Keith.  "This is my first co-headlining situation, so I didn't really know what to expect going into it," she said. "It was just really fun to put together more staging, more lights, more songs and stuff like that. I have two albums now to sing off of -- which is great. The fans have been great. We've been selling out every single night, so it's just been wonderful." The duo has performed on stage together, but there is not yet talk of collaborating on music.  Carrie said, “Being out on the road, there's so much stuff going on that it's pretty much impossible to sit down for any length of time and write.” For the full interview, visit http://www.cmt.com/news/country-music/1584110/carrie-underwood-keith-urban-talk-about-touring.jhtml?rsspartner=rssMozilla.
