Plant and Krauss Go Platinum
Robert Plant has had many platinum albums as the lead singer of Led Zeppelin, but this one comes with a new partner.
Plant and duet partner Alison Krauss’s 2007 album, Raising Sand, has been certified platinum by the RIAA for the sale of one million copies.
The album debuted last year at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and went on to win a Grammy for the song “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” for the duo.
Robert and Alison’s next project is the Raising Sand World Tour, which includes a stop at Bonnaroo on June 15.
