Alan Jackson surprised the audience and Radio Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Kraig with an unannounced performance at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame dinner this week, according to Country Weekly.   Kraig was a label executive at Arista in Nashville and as Alan said, “He’s been very good to me over the years.” Kraig retired in 2005 due to health reasons. Kraig promoted Jackson’s No. 1 hit “Chattahoochee”, which Jackson performed first at the dinner.  He followed that with a touching version of “Remember When” and the title track from his latest album, Good Time.   Charlie Daniels was also honored at the ceremony, receiving the prestigious Career Achievement Award.   GAC host and WSM-AM Nashville radio personality Bill Cody and Bob Robbins of KSSN in Little Rock, AR were inducted into the DJ Hall of Fame.   Inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame were media consultant Jaye Albright and radio executive Michael Owens, the son of country legend Buck Owens, along with Kraig.
