Only one legendary country artist can claim the most No. 1 singles of all time, platinum and multi-platinum albums, 84 out of 89 radio singles which made it to the Top 10, plus 24 No. 1 albums. And that artist is George Strait.

It seems that “King George” is unstoppable, and fans are grateful. Strait’s latest album, Here For A Good Time, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Charts this week, to complete his third No. 1 album debut in a row. It also debuted at No. 3 on Billboard Top 200 Chart with first week sales of 91,414.

Strait’s current single and title track, “Here For A Good Time,” is his 89th career single and sits at No. 8 this week on the Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts. It continues his streak of having all but five singles in his entire 30-year career reach the Top 10 mark.

“Strait knows how to pick a song and tell a story,” reports The Salt Lake Tribune. “This album shows why Strait continues to be one of the top-selling recording artists in any genre.”

The album was co-produced by George Strait and his long-time friend, Tony Brown, at Shrimpboat Sound Studio in Key West, Fla. It is the same studio Strait recorded his last three award-winning albums (getting a little superstitious, are we?).

Seven of the 11 tracks on the album were co-written by George. He also had some help from legendary songwriter, Dean Dillon.
