Betts In the current issue of Blender magazine, Kid Rock says his buddy Gretchen Wilson is the friend of his who’s most able to hold her liquor – even if his memories of particular nights may prove a little fuzzy. “One time she had a drinking party at her place in Nashville — a hot-tub party,” he says. “We were drinking Crown Royal or Jim Beam. The next day, she says, ‘You know, I woke up this morning, and your Confederate-flag boxers were hanging on my Grammy.’” OK, make that fuzzy and disturbing… Kid Rock will be in L.A. with another of his buddies on Oct. 25, when he participates in the taping of CMT Giants: Hank Williams Jr. The special airs Nov. 17 on CMT.
